Calendarchy is an open-source terminal application that displays your calendar events. It runs entirely on your computer. There is no server, no backend, and no cloud component operated by us.
When you connect your calendars, Calendarchy accesses:
This data is used solely to display your events in the terminal interface and to perform actions you initiate (accepting or declining events, opening meeting links).
All data stays on your machine:
~/.config/calendarchy/tokens.json~/.cache/calendarchy/events.json~/.config/calendarchy/config.jsonNo data is transmitted to any server other than the Google Calendar API and Apple CalDAV servers required to fetch and update your events.
Calendarchy requests access to the calendar.events scope, which allows reading and writing calendar events. This is used to:
Calendarchy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
For iCloud Calendar access, Calendarchy connects to Apple's CalDAV servers using an app-specific password that you generate. This password is stored locally in your configuration file. We never see or transmit this password beyond Apple's servers.
You can revoke Calendarchy's access at any time:
~/.config/calendarchy/ and ~/.cache/calendarchy/Calendarchy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Since Calendarchy has no server component, there is no way to notify you of changes other than through software updates.
